More heavy downpours, more hot days and longer periods of drought – these are the consequences of climate change that are increasingly affecting us in Switzerland. The Sponge City project offers an opportunity to respond to and mitigate the new climatic conditions. At today’s free event organised by the two Blue Communities, the Bumpliz Parish of Berne and the Bethlehem Parish of Berne, participants learned about the Sponge City Berne West project. The event consisted of an introductory presentation followed by a tour of Bern Bumpliz.
