On National Indigenous Peoples Day (21 June), the Council of Canadians was marking the occasion by calling on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to finally resolve the remaining long term drinking water advisories in 26 First Nations communities. Over the last few months the Council has been receiving ‘water drops’ from students across the country with heartfelt and important messages for the PM – water is life. All people deserve clean, safe drinking water. They call on Trudeau: Keep your promise. Now they delivered these messages to the Prime Minister’s Office.
