There are 12 Blue Cities in Germany, including major cities such as the capital Berlin, but also Hamburg, Munich and others. The network also includes the first Blue School (Buedingen) and a Blue University (Philipps University Marburg). Christa Hecht coordinated these Blue Communities in Germany for many years. When she retired in the spring of 2024, a coordination team consisting of Anoosh Werner, Karin Brahms and Claus Wilkens took over. And since the Blue Community Germany website was a bit outdated, they decided to switch over to our global network. We warmly welcome them here and look forward to an active and committed exchange.
