Paris: more water on the map

The subways of Paris (RATP) and Île-de-France Mobilités are promoting Paris water and listing their water fountains on the public water service Eau de Paris interactive map. A number of Paris metro and RER stations have recently been equipped with water fountains. They are now listed on the Eau de Paris interactive map, joining a large network of drinking water points in the Blue Community / Blue City of Paris with fountains and establishments that are partners in the “Ici, je choisis l’eau de Paris” initiative.

The “Ici, je choisis l’eau de Paris” (Here, I choose Paris water) network continues to grow and now has around 1,100 partner stores and companies. In 2023, according to a study carried out by Polytechnique students as part of the Capstone project, 500,000 1-litre plastic water bottles were avoided thanks to the commitment of our partner businesses.

Wherever you are in Paris, locate yourself on the interactive map with 1,200 fountains in the streets, parks and gardens of Paris. You can also fill your water bottle free of charge in one of the 1,000 partner shops in the “Ici, je choisis l’eau de Paris” network. Open the map here.
