The Blue Community network Réseau Ecole RadioChico in Mali writes: As the saying goes, ‘He who plants a tree 🌳 has not lived in vain 🍃’. On Sunday 01 September 2024, a delegation of 5 members set off from the capital of Mali, Bamako, for Koutiala – with several organisations from Mali’s young leaders’ networks and many other partners. September 02 was an extraordinary green day, during which we planted 1,000 Moringat trees the village of Koumbri, Koutiala region. The day was attended by the local authorities of Koutiala, the youth, and the deputy director of water and forests. The community delegation planted more than 50 trees, and promoted the Blue Community and its objectives. Together for the preservation of the environment (water💧 and plants🌴) and for sustainable development.
