Congratulation to Blue Community Ambassador Madelaine Moore for winning the European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy EAEPE‘s William Kapp Prize 2024 for her article: “Water trading markets: Facilitating financial flows through the hydro-social cycle?” published in Geoforum.
EAEPE states: Moore’s article is awarded for its critical exploration of how global water governance is shaped by financial markets. By analyzing water trading and futures markets, she shows how the hydro-social cycle disrupts financialization. Moore creates a new way to think about a core economic issue and shards out a new perspective contributing to EAEPE’s pluralist norms.
