“Ça nous concerne” is the every morning at 6:50 radio programme on RMC. This Wednesday, focus on access to drinking water in France. This week, Amélie Rosique reports about the access to drinking water: 300,000 French people are without water in a home that is not connected to the network. Others are victims of leaks. She states:

We are talking about the most precarious populations, who occupy shanty towns in mainland France or unsanitary neighborhoods overseas . But not only that.

And according to the latest report from the Observatory of Public Water Services, for every 5 litres of water distributed, 1 litre never reaches the consumer. Over the year, the losses are equivalent to the consumption of 18 million inhabitants.
