A proud 75 children have been trained as junior detectives in the public library of the Blue Community / Blue City of Büdingen, Germany, these days. The activity is offered every year during the summer holidays. Detective Alexander Schrumpf from the Adler Detective Agency in Wiesbaden, Germany, set up a small crime scene in which the children were also involved. The children were enthusiastic and proud of their new skills as junior detectives.
Tanja Juraschek, deputy director of the library, and Mayor Benjamin Harris organised the prize-giving ceremony. All the children who took part received a water bottle with the mascot of the Summer Reading Club on it, just as it should be for Büdingen as a Blue Community.
