Mexico: Blockade lifted for water

After 18 days of protests and a blockade of the railway line between Mexico City and Veracruz, residents of the Mexican community of Puente Colorado in Puebla have finally won an agreement with the railway company and with the federal government to get access to drinking water. The railway company Ferrosur will have to build a water purification plant, and it has to continue supplying water for human consumption, while the purification plant is set up. In case the agreement is not respected, the citizens already announced to block the railway again.
