Residents in the semi-rural suburb of Bullsbrook, north of Perth, Australia, have been reliant on bottled water for almost a decade, after PFAS chemicals from the nearby Pearce Royal Australian Air Force base contaminated their tap water. Now the Defence Department said they will connect properties to a new water main by early 2026, thereby solving the problem.
