Another Blue Community / Blue City leaves X. Paris and its public water utility Eau de Paris write: Eau de Paris will no longer communicate on the X platform (formerly Twitter). This decision reflects our commitment to responsible, transparent communication aligned with the fundamental values of public service.
Eau de Paris is committed to a calm, constructive and accessible dialogue with its users and stakeholders, based on mutual respect. For several months now, the X social network has increasingly failed to live up to these principles. We have therefore decided to withdraw from it.
We will continue to actively engage with the public through our other communication channels: LinkedIn, Instagram and this website. Here we will engage in constructive dialogue with Parisians, share educational content, highlight actions to preserve water resources and promote responsible practices, while providing a respectful and inclusive framework.
Comment: The Blue Community network is still on X, as there are some affiliates and contacts not available on other channels. But we again and again invite to change to BlueSky, Linkedin or Mastodon, and we do not engage on X and constantly delete fake accounts and bots following us.
