Witney: objection raised to plans for 370 homes by A40.
Plans to build 370 homes near the A40 outside Witney (on the River Windrush in the county of Oxfordshire, England) have received an objection by an anti-sewage pollution campaign group over concerns for the environment and public health. The development would be built on a 58-acre site in Peashell Farm, Downs Road in Curbridge, and would include a local retail store, a youth play area and allotments.
Windrush Against Sewage Pollution (WASP) submitted an objection to the outline planning application over concerns the development would put additional strain on sewage works in neighbouring areas.
