“Water is life. Nobody owns it. Humans are in a reciprocal relationship with it. It should never be a commodity to be sold, traded, or seized by the powerful. These are some of the reasons we’ve been fighting corporate free trade deals since the 1980s that threaten our water. The musings of Mad King Trump combined with a new zeal to accelerate extractive projects in response have me terrified for the fate of the water we should be protecting in BC. The stakes of this election could not be higher.”
