AHD Celebrates World Water Day 2025: Promoting Safe Water for a Sustainable Future.
Pakistan is the country where 85% people drinking contaminated water, as PCRWR reported 18 bottled water unfit to drink and other private companies bottle water also not fit, the ground water Sindh and South Punjab and KPK and Baluchistan is brackish and no option to install handpumps for drinking purposes.
The freshwater, canal water, river water available to drink just make it clean & AHD has been worming on safe drinking water since 2005 and time a date reached 365,000 families and now in 2025 Blue Community Switzerland and Thrive Project Australia partner with AHD and for Africa and Asia some 10 partners to help rural poor communities of Asia and Africa to access them safe and clean drinking water and to tackle CHOLERA OUTBREAKS, GASTRO & DIARRHEA
March 15 to 19, 2025 – AHD organized multiple seminars and visits and trainings in Sujawal and Thatta to create awareness and see the performance of Nadi filter installed and happy to see local communities are happy.
World Water Day 2025: The Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) proudly joined the global community in celebrating World Water Day 2025, reinforcing its commitment to ensuring safe drinking water, environmental sustainability, and community well-being. This year’s theme, “Water for Peace,” resonated deeply with AHD’s mission to provide clean water solutions to vulnerable communities across Pakistan.
Experts and community leaders shared insights on water security, climate change, and sustainable water management’s role in fostering peace. Demonstrations on water filtration techniques and hygiene practices emphasized practical steps to improve public health.
Women and children actively participated in discussions and awareness sessions, while local farmers and entrepreneurs explored the impact of clean water on food security and economic empowerment.
