Eau de Paris at the Climat Libé Tour 2025.
From 27 to 29 March, the Académie du Climat will host the latest edition of the Climat Libé Tour. Experts, scientists, activists and politicians will debate the burning issues surrounding the most precious resource of our century: water. The public water utility of the Blue Community / Blue City of Paris, Eau de Paris, will be represented by its President, Dan Lert, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of the ecological transition, the climate plan, water and energy.
The Académie du Climat and the City of Paris are joining forces with Libération to give the floor to the Coalition Océans, which brings together 150 associations, corporate foundations and public figures to defend water and the oceans. How can we inform people about water pollution? How can we incorporate ecology into our art to raise awareness? Should we laugh or cry at the climate emergency? The aim of this year’s event is to bring together, around the same table, on the same stage, in the same workshop, die-hard ecologists, committed people who have just become aware of the issue, and activists in small doses.
Eau de Paris is looking forward to welcoming you on Saturday 29 March to discuss two issues that are particularly close to its heart:
- From 15.30 to 17.00, Microplastics, eternal pollutants: can we trust the water we drink? A debate with Dan Lert, Chairman of Eau de Paris and Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of the ecological transition, the climate plan, water and energy, Marie-Amandine Stévenin, President of UFC-Que choisir, Stéphane Junique, Chairman of the Vyv Group, moderated by Margaux Lacroux, journalist with Libération.
- New drilling in France: will the oil flow? Bridge Energies, often referred to as ‘France’s smallest oil company’, has been exploiting a hydrocarbon deposit at Nonville, around 5 kilometres south of the Fontainebleau forest in the Paris region, since 2009. But what are the consequences for water quality? The company is currently in court against Eau de Paris. An on-stage investigation with Anaïs Moran, journalist at Libération, and the actors and actresses who spoke in this article. In co-production with Mediavivant.
