From the Blue Community / Blue City of Paris: 2nd Eau de Paris participatory budget: discover the projects chosen by Parisians.

The results are in! On 18 October, the public water utility of Paris, Eau de Paris, launched the second edition of its participatory budget. Citizens selected 17 projects from 14 associations, groups and users.

With a budget of 250,000 euros, this participatory budget allows associations, groups and users to put their drinking water projects into practice. This year’s winners are divided into two categories. Well done to all who took part! Dan Lert, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of the ecological transition, the climate plan, water and energy, and Chairman of Eau de Paris, said:

“With this participatory budget, we are putting water management under the control of citizens and reaffirming our commitment to sustainable, sober and shared management of water resources.”

 A dynamic of participation

In the light of this enthusiasm, Eau de Paris is already planning to launch the third edition of the participatory budget in September 2025. This initiative will further strengthen civic governance and the protection of water, an essential resource. Parisians can already prepare to put forward new ideas to continue making water a common good accessible to all.
