In mid-January, the Blue Community Switzerland welcomed the organisation Viva con Agua as a new member (see Blue News here). Since then, a very fruitful cooperation has been established, especially with activities around World Water Day (22 March). On the occasion of the ‘Kick it for Water’ football tournament on 21 March, Viva con Agua has been awarded the Blue Community certificate. Viva con Agua reports on this in their latest blog entry and on their Drink & Donate initiative, which promotes both the consumption of tap water and global water projects.
Viva con Agua has a long history of promoting the right to clean water for all. They support water and sanitation projects around the world. To achieve their goals, they organise numerous fundraising campaigns and carry out valuable and important awareness-raising work at home and abroad. They do this through the ‘universal languages of music, art and sport’.
