Nigeria’s Kebbi State to Benefit from $700 Million Water Programme.
The Kebbi State Government in North West Nigeria has expressed readiness to implement a $700 million program aimed at improving water supply, sanitation, and hygiene in the state.
The program, assisted by the Federal Government and the World Bank, will provide sustainable urban and rural water supply, sanitation, and hygiene services to the residents.
Part of the Program Objectives includes Improving access to basic drinking water services for 6 million people, to provide improved sanitation services to 1.4 million people and deliver improved water sanitation and hygiene services to 2,000 schools and healthcare facilities.
