The program’s Strategic Purchasing Framework (framework) is the government’s trading strategy. The framework will guide the purchase of water entitlements for First Nations Peoples in the Murray–Darling Basin. The framework will be managed through the interim governance arrangements until the enduring water holding mechanism is established.
