Welcome to the Blue Community, Kene Elou Te!
RadioChico Switzerland has been part of the Blue Community since September 2023. Unfortunately, Radio Chico had to stop broadcasting at the end of 2025.
The Kene Elou Te association was founded in August 2024 as partner for the Blue Community Réseau Ecole RadioChico (RERC) in Mali. Kene Elou Te revived the essence of the Swiss RadioChico project in the new association, enabling the work to continue for Swiss youth, producing reports, videos, podcasts and radio recordings. RERC continues the Blue Community programmes, which Kene Elou Te publishes regularly on its website. You can listen to the episodes here.
Water issues and commitment to the Blue Community are pillars of the association’s work. As well as collaborating with the Blue Community Réseau Ecole RadioChico (RERC) in Mali, the association promotes the production of solar cookers and the cultivation of a school garden.
Kene Elou Te has officially been a Blue Community since April 2025. In May 2025, we presented them with the certificate at an event attended by Kolade Fadahunsi from EWNA. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and wish the association every success with its activities!
