The network of the Blue Community is growing – in size, but also in content and cooperation. The ongoing campaign of the Nigerian Blue Community Peace Point Development Foundation PPDF against the oil spill by Sterling Oil is an example. More than 30 Blue Communities and other organisations have signed the call by PPDF (see the Blue News here).
Reverend Kolade Fadahunsi from the Ecumenical Water Network Africa EWNA, coordinator of the Blue Community Chapter Africa, stressed the importance of the cooperation among Blue Communities – within Africa, but also with Blue Communities around the world – during his visit in Switzerland.
To cooperate, you first have to know about the others. You have to know who they, where they are, and what they do.
