From the Spanish Blue Community AEOPAS (Asociación Española de Operadores Públicos de Abastecimiento y Saneamiento – Spanish Association of Public Water Supply and Sanitation Operators):
Next Monday, 30 June at 12:00 noon, AEOPAS will present its new training strategy live: WWTP and DWTP operator courses + the WWTP Operator Manual in a participatory process.
AEOPAS is committed to the professionalisation of the urban water cycle, and this commitment is reflected in its dedication to specialised technical training. This event will present new courses for Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and Drinking Water Treatment Plant (DWTP) operators, providing technical staff with the knowledge and skills necessary for the efficient, safe, and sustainable management of water infrastructure.
The event will also present the collaborative process behind the development of the WWTP Operator’s Manual. This technical tool has been developed with the active participation of operators and professionals in the sector. It seeks to systematise operational knowledge and serve as a guide for the continuous improvement of public sanitation services.
Through this training programme, AEOPAS is consolidating an ongoing training strategy based on technical excellence, experience sharing and defending water as a public resource.
