Welcome St-Denis sur Richelieu

Proud to announce great news for our community!

The Municipality of Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu has just obtained the Blue Community certification by the organization Eau Secours

This recognition confirms our commitment to protecting water as a common good and shared heritage. We are now the 46th Blue Community of Quebec and the 4th in the MRC de La Vallée-du-Richelieu

As a Blue Community, we commit ourselves to:

Recognize water and health services as fundamental rights

Prohibit the sale of bottled water in our municipal establishments

Maintain public control over our water infrastructure

As our mayor Pierre-Luc Archambault points out: “Water unites our territory, our families, our history.” His protection must be everyone’s business. “

Certification was awarded at our annual Water Festival, accompanied by fishing activities and awareness at the Park Louis-Joseph Papineau
