On the occasion of World Water Week 2025, Empty pitcher Procession and Advocacy meeting with WASA was organized in Chattogram on 26 August, 2025.
Women folks demanding safe drinking water for domestic purpose and raise concern to increasing sea level in Bay of Bengal, salinity in coastal part, declining groundwater levels in city areas and recurring cyclones, the people of Chattogram is commercial and port city of Bangladesh are facing an escalating water crisis.
Participants—including WASA executive, public representative, youth, students, researchers, media peoples, community members, and local leaders join the activities and shows the solidarity to the demands.
