On 9 October 2025, Souleymane Guindo, coordinator of the Blue Community Réseau Ecole RadioChico in Mali and for the Blue Community network in French speaking Africa, presented the town hall of the urban commune of Kati with a Bue Community certificate.The municipality was designated a Blue Community on August 20, 2025 (see here).
The town hall is led by Mr Zanga Dao, secretary general. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding potential activities relating to the rational management of water and drinking water in Kati. Mr Zanga also thanked the Blue Community for its initiatives and expressed his enthusiasm for future projects.
