Salt pollution worsens with each passing winter. Every year, Ontario puts down 2-3 million tonnes of road salt. That’s half of all the winter salt used across the country.

It doesn’t have to be this way. The Ontario government knows we need better policies, but it’s going to take all of us coming together to make them take action now.

Let’s make this the last winter the status quo is good enough. Let’s stop salt pollution.
