The Blue Community Reformed Church of Zurich, Switzerland’s largest parish, will receive the EMAS environmental management system certification “Grüner Güggel” (Green Rooster) and is embarking on a path to continually reduce its environmental impact over the next four years. Water consumption and retention are areas where the parish urgently needs to improve, and so, for the first time, water consumption data was collected and a specially designed water flow diagram was conceived.
