AEOPAS reinforces its Action Plan to promote digitalization, technical training and resilience of urban water systems in the face of extreme weather events.
The Spanish Association of Public Water Supply and Sanitation Operators (AEOPAS) held its General Assembly, in which it presented the activity report for the last year and the roadmap of the Action Plan for the next period, consolidating the process of strengthening the professionalized public model of urban water systems in Spain.
The report confirms that the main focus of work has been the generation of technical capacity in public operators through specialized training and the development of operational guides, tools that are making it possible to translate the new regulatory requirements and risk management approaches into methodologies for direct application in the operation of services.
