Invitation/consultation for a global campaign:
The Human Rights to Water and Sanitation (HRWatSan)
– in every constitution and with binding legal regulations.
On 28 July 2010, the General Assembly of the United Nations accepted the Human Rights to Water and Sanitation by adopting Resolution 64/292. After more than 15 years, it is time for states to comply. We invite institutions and organisations worldwide to join forces for a global call.
During January, an internal consultation took part with Blue Communities in Africa and in Asia.
Now, during February, we invite you all to take part in this consultation, to decide about this campaign to be launched in March, ahead of World Water Day and leading up to the UN Water Conference 2026.
