Blue Dogonland Signs Certificates

At the end of February, we reported that six villages in Mali’s Dogonland had pledged to become Blue Communities (see here). The mayor and village chiefs have now formalised this decision by signing the certificates. Like most people in the area, the village chiefs are wise but illiterate. As is traditional, they signed with a fingerprint.
