World Water Day 2026 has passed. We reported on a wide range of activities by Blue Communities around the world. We also launched our Global Call for the Human Rights to Water and Sanitation to be enshrined in the constitution of every country worldwide. So far, some 40 institutions and organisations, as well as several eminent individuals, have added their voices to the call (see here).
However, the Global Call HRWatSan2026 was not just for World Water Day. It is aimed at the UN Water Conference, which is scheduled for December. Until then, we want to make the call louder and broader to create a roaring voice from all over the blue planet. Protect our water by making it a constitutional right!
