Blue Italy celebrates World Water Day 2026:
The University of Udine promotes water resource awareness with the “COMUNICare H2O” project.
From March 10th to 22nd, six initiatives throughout Friuli.
In anticipation of World Water Day on March 22, the University of Udine (Northern Italy) is launching a comprehensive program of initiatives stemming from the Multi-Stakeholder Territorial Roundtable promoted by the DPIA, DI4A, and DILL departments, under the patronage of the Municipality of Udine. Under the aegis of the “COMUNICare H2O” project , the University of Udine, together with partners such as Acquedotto Poiana, Legambiente FVG, CeVI, and Consumatori Attivi, aims to raise awareness among citizens and younger generations about the sustainable management of water resources through a diversified and inclusive outreach approach. This year’s program focuses specifically on the creation of “Blue Communities ,” local networks actively engaged in water conservation in response to the challenges of climate change.
