International Water Day 2026: Every man for himself? Or help me help you? What’s your movement?

In-person launch of the book “Blue University and Water Justice”.

The in-person launch of the book Blue University and Water Justice , held on March 23, 2026, at the Digital Arena of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, represented a moment of articulation between scientific production, institutional commitment, and social engagement around the theme of water. The activity was part of the World Water Day 2026 program, broadening the event’s reach by connecting the dissemination of academic knowledge with reflection on contemporary challenges related to water justice.

The event brought together professors, researchers, students, and academic authorities, consolidating itself as a space for interdisciplinary dialogue. It featured the presence of Professor Dr. Caroline Filla Rosaneli, coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Bioethics; Professor Dr. Rudolf Eduard Von Sinner, coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Theology; the dean of the School of Education and Humanities; and Professor Dr. César Candiotto and the coordinator of the Biological Sciences Course at the School of Medicine and Life Sciences, whose work strengthens the interface between philosophy, ethics, and socio-environmental issues. The participation of these leaders demonstrated institutional support for consolidating the water agenda as a strategic axis for training, research, and social action.
