Now online! Water Flow Diagram Website💧
Understanding complex water systems is essential for better planning and more resilient services. The Water Flow Diagram is a practical visual tool that supports evidence‑based and participatory decision‑making.
We’re excited to share that the site is now live.
The Water Flow Diagram (WFD) is a simple, visual tool to understand water balances in urban and municipal contexts. It shows how water flows through a city or environment.
By making complexity visible, the WFD helps planners, municipalities and other stakeholders identify opportunities related to reuse, stormwater harvesting and infrastructure improvements, as well as challenges linked to overuse, losses, pollution or inappropriate supply.
Beyond analysis, the diagram also serves as a communication and advocacy tool, supporting participatory, integrated and evidence‑based planning processes.
