🌿 News from Mali: All is quiet in the children’s gardens.
The children of Ecole RadioChico / KeneElouTe are unable to attend school at the moment.
Instead, they are planting, tending their beds and working together to ensure they have enough to eat.
They draw their ‘little cheerleaders’, which give them strength, and write down their wishes in their vision journals.
Our little island of peace lives on.
The situation remains challenging – making water, food and a safe place all the more important.
More villages are waiting to gain access to water.
We’re staying on the ball. Our thoughts are with everyone there. 🕊️
The pictures show different places:
In Kani Kombolé and Walia in Dogon country, the children still carry water for many kilometres – for themselves and their little plants.
In Telly, on the other hand, the water is already flowing.
It quenches the children’s thirst and helps the gardens to grow.
This difference shows just how crucial access to water is.
