A highlight from today’s conference on Digitalisation and Water Governance, organized by the Arteixo City Council and the Spanish Blue Community aeopas – Asociación Española de Operadores Públicos de Abastecimiento y Saneamiento:
The Counselor for the Environment and Climate Change of the Xunta de Galicia has participated in the Digitalization and Water Governance Conference, putting forward the following ideas:
👉 “Public water management is more than an administrative model: it is a social commitment.”
👉 “This conference, which I hope will be highly productive, should not be just a space for reflection, but must serve as a platform for commitment where we can explore more collaborative projects to ensure that everyone, regardless of where they live, has access to clean, safe, and sustainable water.”
👉 “With regard to water, which is the topic that concerns us today, Galicia is working to become a laboratory for innovation in the management of this resource, for which there is a shared responsibility.”
👉 “To improve, first we must know.”
