From the Blue Community Ojulu Island Saviours Foundation, Uganda:
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental conservation through tree in island communities, we are proud of our tree planting on Sigulu Island, Namayingo District.
On 30th April 2026, we shall plant 2,000 trees with some Island schools and some religious institutions to protect our natural environment surrounded by lake Victoria.
This initiative is driven by my deep connection to island life and commitment of Ojulu Island Saviours Foundation (OISF) whose passion for nature, sustainable island development, Education is a priority.
This activities reduce soil erosion, climate impact, enhance air quality, Island natural beauty, shade and strong awareness on sustainability among learners and communities.
Our commitment is to ensure that island communities are not left behind in environmental action, climate resilience, Education and health.
Great appreciation to the supporters who are at the forefront working and planning to work with us to make Islands not left behind and be recognized.
Let us continue to support nature and protect our islands for future generations.
Our islands, our pride. Our responsibility, our future.
