UDYAMA: Water Leaders Award for India

We are pleased to share that 𝐔𝐃𝐘𝐀𝐌𝐀 was conferred the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 at the 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held in New Delhi on 6–7 March organised by #IndiaWaterFoundation. The award, presented by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐎𝐦 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐚, 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚, acknowledges #UDYAMA’s exceptional leadership in advancing community-driven, #climateresilientdevelopment through integrated and nature-based solutions. Since its establishment in 1997, the organisation has played a catalytic role in strengthening #human, #ecological, #social, and #economiccapital by aligning #grassrootsaction with #sustainability, resilience, and #inclusivegrowth. This recognition underscores UDYAMA’s leadership in demonstrating how integrated, community-centric, and innovation-driven approaches can address the evolving challenges of climate crisis, building resilient societies while safeguarding natural resources for future generations.
