Webinar Report: Saturday, April 11, 2026, was marked by a high-level webinar, organized by the Blue Community in French-speaking Africa, under the theme:
Water at the Heart of Biodiversity: Protecting its Source to Protect Lives.
During this webinar, we had the honor of welcoming Mr. Mohamed, also known as Kila Doumbia, an environmental specialist who shared his experiences regarding water and biodiversity.
The session was well-organized by the moderator, Mr. Maïga Djibril.
This webinar provided a rich forum for discussion, centered around three points:
1. Introduction
The moderator facilitated introductions among the participants.
2. Panelist Presentation
Mr. Doumbia introduced and elaborated on the theme. His presentation focused on fundamental aspects of the environment, placing water and biodiversity at the heart of his remarks. He truly enlightened us on environmental issues such as the importance of water and our rights to it, plants, natural resources, and population growth.
He demonstrated, through his presentations, that without water, there is no life.
He concluded by encouraging action to preserve the environment, and water in particular, and to continue raising awareness for the good of the environment.
He also guaranteed his availability to support the community in its efforts.
3. Questions
Participants had the opportunity to ask questions. They received satisfactory answers from the panelist.
The session ended at 10:10 p.m. with closing remarks by Mr. Mohamed Doumbia.
