Brussels takes Spain to the CJEU for failing to comply with legislation on urban wastewater treatment.
The European Commission decided on Wednesday to take Spain to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) for failing to comply with all the collection, treatment and control obligations established in the European Directive on urban wastewater treatment, a regulation that obliges member states to protect human health and safeguard the natural environment.
