From Lament to Action on Biodiversity

Faith communities from across the globe gathered online on 22 May for a World Council of Churches (WCC) webinar that turned the International Day for Biological Diversity into a moment of collective reckoning. Titled “From Faith to Action: Interreligious Call for Biodiversity Justice,” the event brought together Christian, Hindu, Orthodox, Muslim, and Sikh voices to confront one of the defining ecological crises of our time – and to ask what religious communities can, and must, do about it.
