Human Social Care Foundation joins in

The Blue Community Network is delighted to welcome yet another new partner from India: the Human Social Care Foundation, based in Mumbai.

Human Social Care Foundation (HSCF) is a non-profit organization, established with a clear and action-oriented mission to serve humanity through meaningful, on-ground social initiatives. The Foundation is guided by the belief that sustainable development can only be achieved when communities are empowered with education, dignity, healthcare, and equal opportunities.

HSCD has a Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC, the United Nations Economic and Social Council, headquarters (HQ), New York, USA and Accredited by United Nation Office at Geneva Accreditation authorises HSCF representative to attend U.N. sessions in New York, Geneva and Vienna. HSCD actively contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a wide range of focus areas, including education, women’s and children’s rights and welfare, access to healthcare, humanitarian relief, anti-drug awareness, environmental protection, child nutrition, peacebuilding, social justice, and the reduction of inequality. A core pillar of HSCD’s work are skill development vocational training for school and college dropouts, enabling individuals to rebuild confidence and achieve sustainable livelihoods, education and Health.

In its commitment to become a Blue Community, HSCF states:
«Water is a fundamental right for all living things. We have contributed towards providing drinking water for people from disadvantaged backgrounds. We want to do more to solve drinking water issues, and we request guidance and support to help us achieve this. Through our partner, we installed a borewell free of cost to provide safe drinking water to tribal and marginalized communities. In many parts of India, due to caste-based discrimination and untouchability practices, people from these communities are still denied access to common water sources. This initiative is a small step towards restoring dignity, equality, and the basic human right to clean water for all.Due to hygiene issues and the unavailability of clean drinking water, bottled water was introduced. To reduce the bottled water trend, water purifiers need to be established alongside taps in public places.»

HSCF was founded by Dr. Faizan Ahmed Azizi, a distinguished scholar, author, and social activist, and a former committee member under ministries of the Government of India. Dr. Faizan A. Azizi’s humanitarian efforts and global advocacy have been acknowledged and appreciated by distinguished world leaders and international dignitaries, including the President of France, the Prime Minister of Canada, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, and the Vatican Offices of His Holiness Pope Francis and Pope Leo. His dedicated contributions towards humanitarian service, social welfare, and community empowerment have also been appreciated by the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, the Maharashtra State Commission for Women and former Prime Minister of India too. Through his dedicated efforts and advocacy, the Right to Education (RTE) online admission quota for free education to children from marginalized communities was first introduced in Mumbai. Today, this initiative has expanded widely, enabling lakhs of underprivileged students to access quality education and build a brighter future. Books authored by Dr. Faizan A. Azizi have been placed in globally reputed academic institutions, including the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, reflecting the international recognition of his intellectual contributions. His valuable suggestions and recommendations were acknowledged by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, during the formulation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2016. Today, he serves as President and Chief Representative at the United Nations.

With deep compassion and unwavering commitment, Dr. Faizan Ahmed Azizi not only engages with the United Nations in crafting global policies, but also tirelessly raises powerful and innovative recommendations aimed at building a more just society and restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity to the world’s most vulnerable communities. He states:
