Canadian Maude Barlow, recipient of the Right Livelihood Award (the “Alternative Nobel Prize”) and founder of the Blue Community initiative, presented the city of Neustrelitz with the official Blue Community certificate in May 2022. This global initiative is committed, among other things, to the principle of access to clean water for all people.
