Financial Times interviewed me for their documentary on oil frontiers in developing countries, this time in Suriname.
The challenges for small developing countries facing energy and economic insecurity are profound and complex in many places. In the context of climate and ecological impacts of fossil fuel extraction, the global governance of climate, politics of international development, fossil fuel industry influences, contradictions of competing interests, and more come into play.
