The Blue Community can welcome a new partner in India. The Dalai Lama Foundation (DLF), based in Nandurbar, a tribal district recognized as an Aspirational District by NITI Aayog on the border of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh, took the pledge and turns blue.

Shrikant Amrutsagar, Founder & President of the Dalai Lama Foundation, declares:

«The Dalai Lama Foundation recognizes access to safe drinking water and sanitation as a basic human right. As a Blue Community, we will conduct awareness campaigns, educational workshops, school programs, community outreach, and advocacy initiatives to promote equitable access to safe water and sanitation, particularly in rural, tribal, and underserved communities.»
