Kirundo: Shenga has been without drinking water for five months.
For the past five months, the taps have run dry on Shenga Hill, a sub-hill of Nunga, in the Kigoma area of Kirundo commune. Deprived of drinking water, residents are drawing their water from Lake Gacamirinda, whose water is considered unfit for consumption. They are raising the alarm about a resurgence of disease and are calling on the authorities to intervene quickly .
