The Water Consortium makes effective the expulsion of Canal Gestión Lanzarote.
The process of rescuing the complete water cycle began this Tuesday, with a delegation headed by the island’s president.
In accordance with Monday’s unanimous agreement by the Island Water Consortium (comprised of the Island Council and local councils), the complete takeover of the water cycle was finalized early Tuesday morning, with Canal Gestión Lanzarote excluded from the process. The island delegation, led by the Island Council President, Oswaldo Betancort, documented its actions in the presence of David González, manager of the Canal de Isabel II subsidiary.
