Co-hosts, Senegal and the United Arab Emirates invite you to save the date for the 2026 United Nations Water Conference to Accelerate the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, to be convened in Abu Dhabi, UAE during 8-10 December 2026.
Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6 on clean water and sanitation is both a fundamental objective in its own right and a key driver of progress across the entire 2030 Agenda. As we enter the final stretch towards the deadline for the 2030 Agenda, the global community must intensify investment, innovation, and political commitment to accelerate its implementation, guided by a spirit of solidarity and cooperation. The 2026 United Nations Water Conference, co-hosted by the United Arab Emirates and Senegal and scheduled to take place in the UAE from 8 to 10 December 2026, embodies this collective spirit and aims to advance a future where water security is ensured for all.
