Five years to go: How countries are using WASH data to drive SDG 6
9 June | 14:00 CEST | Data for Action | 🌐 EN/FR
With less than five years remaining to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, countries are at very different stages in how they collect, use, and act on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) data. The GLAAS 2025 Global Update provides a timely systems-level snapshot of where progress is being made, where gaps persist and how data is (or is not) informing decisions across policies, finance, regulation, and climate resilience. Using the GLAAS 2025 findings as a common framing, this webinar will create space for countries and practitioners to reflect on their own data journeys toward SDG 6. The session will explore how different countries have adapted their monitoring systems, governance arrangements and decision-making processes to better track SDG indicators and prioritize investments for WASH.
