Flavia Braga Vieira will discuss the struggle in Brazil that has confronted forms of water grabbing by state and corporate actors, who all too often work together to dispossess communities, for over 30 years.
Blue Community Ambassador Cailtlin Schroering will focus on the IV International Movement of People Affected by Dams, Socio-environmental crimes, and Climate Change, held adjacent to COP30 in Belem, Brazil, November 2025. This gathering provided an alternative space to confront fake and false solutions of “green capitalism” and water financialization, and formally announced the creation of a global movement.
Blue Community Ambassador Leo Heller will moderate the discussion.
